Ayden Marine's Ay Yıldız Sets Sail on the Bosphorus

Ayden Marine has launched its latest sightseeing and entertainment vessel, Ay Yıldız, into the waters of the Istanbul Bosphorus. Measuring 23.90 meters in length and 8 meters in beam, the new-generation vessel was completed in just one year and is now ready to serve in the region’s tourism and event sectors.

The modern and original exterior design of Ay Yıldız has already begun to draw attention on the Bosphorus. Its interior spaces are warmly decorated in line with its recreational purpose, offering a vibrant atmosphere for guests. Built entirely from steel, the vessel accommodates up to 130 passengers and provides ergonomic, spacious, and multi-functional areas for comfortable cruising.

Constructed in Trabzon, the vessel’s efficient hull design and optimized fuel consumption performance were key highlights noted by Ayden Marine General Manager Ayçın Özsakabaşı, who shared:

“Sightseeing boats operating in the Bosphorus must evolve and modernize in line with today’s expectations. Inspired by this vision, we began designing Ay Yıldız as a new symbol of this transformation. While constructing a vessel like this in steel poses challenges, we are proud to have overcome them through dedicated and talented engineering. We are excited to see Ay Yıldız contributing to the future of maritime tourism in Istanbul.”

Ay Yıldız stands as a shining example of Turkish design, engineering, and innovation, proudly sailing through one of the most iconic waterways in the world.
